Cleaning Methods and Materials for Removable Orthodontic Appliances: A Questionnaire Study

This study aimed to identify the recommendations of orthodontists practicing in Turkey their patients regarding cleaning removable orthodontic appliances (ROAs) and analyse whether advice was promoted by coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. A questionnaire link sent via an e-mail 1018 members Turkish Orthodontic Society,including informative letter about study. total 133 answered acceptably. Almost all participants this recommended brush ROAs (94.7%). majority advised use a agent besides brushing. Patients were generally two or three times day less often. 77.4% stated that COVID-19 pandemic did not change ROAs. prevalent method respondents Taking into consideration pandemic, had better increase prescription chemical for ROAs.Please click here supplementary survey.
